Because the Republican now controls both House and Senate, it makes Donald Trump not only the 45th President of the United States but also a “very powerful” president. For that reason alone, world leaders, including those who have been mocking and joking about Trump, have no choice but to start making a U-turn and suck up to him.
In general, Muslim countries love Hillary Clinton but hate Donald Trump. In fact, the Arabs love Clinton so much that 68% Saudis believed Clinton should be the next president, more than 46% Americans who wanted Clinton. Saudi Arabia has funded 20% of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. Too bad Clinton lost her presidency despite free flow of money from the Arabs.
Al-Waleed Bin Talal bin Abdulaziz al Saud is a grandson of Ibn Saud, the first Saudi king. But the Saudi prince is also the world’s 41st richest man, with an estimated net worth of US$17.2 billion, according to Forbes. The richest of Saudi princes and armed with tons of money, Alwaleed had previously picked a fight with Trump.
Before Trump becomes the President-Elect, the Saudi billionaire demanded that Trump exit the race, as if Saudi owns the U.S. and calls the shot, after Trump called for a temporary ban on Muslim immigration following the San Bernardino massacre of Americans by two Muslim terrorists.
.@realDonaldTrump
You are a disgrace not only to the GOP but to all America.Withdraw from the U.S presidential race as you will never win.
— الوليد بن طلال (@Alwaleed_Talal) December 11, 2015
“@Michael2014abc: @Alwaleed_Talal @realDonaldTrump Has your country, Saudi Arabia, taken ANY of the Syrian refugees? If not, why not?”
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 13, 2015
President elect @realDonaldTrump whatever the past differences, America has spoken, congratulations & best wishes for your presidency.
— الوليد بن طلال (@Alwaleed_Talal) November 9, 2016
Calling Trump a disgrace to the American people, Alwaleed also confidently told Trump that he will never win the presidency, most likely because the Saudi prince thought money donated to Clinton would do the magic. In the war of tweets, Donald Trump responded by asking if Saudi has taken any Syrian refugees at all.
Of course, Trump was grilling the wealthy Saudi prince over the kingdom’s reluctance to help a single Syrian refugee when the rich Arab nation has 100,000 unused air-conditioned tents. It was shameful that Saudi refused to help their Muslim brothers when the U.S. and Europe have done more for Muslim refugees than 6 wealthiest Gulf Nations combined.
Billionaire Alwaleed should be the last Saudi prince to criticize Trump when his country did not only refused to help Syrian refugee but also has been sponsoring terror group Al-Qaeda which was responsible for the 9/11 attacks on American soil as well as ISIS. But karma is a bitch and now the same Saudi prince has no choice but to suck and kiss Trump’s butt.
